Rwanda’s flag, adopted in 2001, consists of three horizontal stripes. The top stripe is light blue, symbolizing peace, and twice the size of the other two – occupying the entire upper half of the banner. The lower two stripes, equal to each other in size, are yellow – representing mineral wealth (middle stripe), and green – indicative of natural resources (bottom stripe). Emblazoned at the right of the blue stripe is a large yellow sun. All Annin Flagmakers flags are sewn in either South Boston, VA or Coshocton, OH.
