SENEGAL – A vertical tribar consisting of three equally sized stripes, the Senegalese flag was adopted in 1960. The colors comprising the flag are green (indicative of Islam) at the left, yellow (symbolizing wealth and progress) in the middle, and red (standing for the nation’s struggle for independence) on the right.
