2X3 FT NYL-GLO SAO TOME & PRINCIPE

SAO TOME/PRINCIPE (SAINT THOMAS/PRINCE ISLANDS) – A green-yellow-green horizontal triband, with a red triangle at the left hoist, comprises the flag of Sao Tome / Principe (Saint Thomas / Prince Islands) which was adopted in 1975. Two black five-pointed stars float just right of center in the middle yellow stripe. The red, green, and yellow colors are central to the Pan-African movement, symbolizing African solidarity and nationalism.
